As we prepare our hearts
for the coming season of
gratitude, and the
celebration of the Advent of
our Lord, we would like to
ask our St. Timothy Family
in Faith to engage with us
in a special "exercise" that
everyone can do, regardless
of your flexibility! Take a
few quiet moments, take a
couple of deep breaths, and
reflect on all the many
blessings we have in our
lives: our families,
friends, our St. Timothy
congregation and ministries,
and all of the countless
things we take for granted
each day that God has given
to us.
Our congregation remains
in transition, but we are
blessed with Pastor & Judy
Maier's leadership and
guidance to help us find our
way toward the path God has
for us. Thanksgiving, Advent
and Christmas will be
celebrated again this year
with all of the excitement
and numerous church
activities we typically
enjoy, plus a few new
opportunities for
fellowship, worship and
beautiful music. Many
families have recently
joined our congregation and
they eagerly anticipate the
chance to be a part of our
celebration of Christ's
birth. God is so good!
We're asking that you
consider this Thanksgiving
and Advent season as a time
to put aside immediate
concerns about our church
future, so that we can clear
our minds and give God the
glory that is the essence of
this time of year. Our
sincere prayer for you is
that you and your family can
fully participate in the
upcoming activities this
season, in full celebration
of God's benevolence, and
feel the Holy Spirit at work
in your lives. With the new
year, we can all "roll up
our sleeves" and address the
plans that our Call
Committee and Land Committee
will report, in God's time.
Please continue to pray
for our Church Council, the
Call Committee, Pastor &
Judy Maier, Matt, the Mutual
Ministry Team, and all our
St. Timothy commission
volunteers who selflessly
act as Christ's hands on
earth. Let's give thanks and
celebrate!
