a friend and come dash your dreary winter blues with your St Tim pals
and Vicar Monica at St Timothy on Saturday, Jan 28, from 10am-3pm.
We’re gonna talk about Spirituality (what it is, what it means, why
it’s cool), learn about Centering Prayer and meditation and walking the labyrinth, see if we can
figure out a way to get a Youth Video Ministry Team started, laugh and
hang out, and sing AFFIRM songs with a band (St Tim's Josh Shepherd & band!)! There’ll be donuts and OJ
for breakfast, plus sloppy joes and brownies for lunch. Cost is $10 per
person to cover food and the most awesome T-shirt you’ve ever
seen…(trust me, you’ll want one…). Email Vicar Monica if you have questions…and YES, your friends are invited but they MUST register!
Over the Mountain - Teens Encounter Christ (OTM-TEC) 2011

TEC retreat is an encounter with Christ in which the participant
becomes part of a community abounding in God’s grace. It enhances and
strengthens our personal relations with Christ, with our Christian
brothers and sisters, and with our community. We pray and read
scripture, worship and eat, play and sing together…and make some great
new friends….
When: OTM TEC #20 will be Labor Day weekend: Sept. 3 – 5, 2011
Where: Carson Springs Camp, Newport, Tennessee (just north of Gatlinburg)
Cost: $115.00 (Financial help is available….don’t let cost stop you from going!)
Who can go: Ages 15 – 21. Older adults are also welcome and serve a vital role
